I’ve actually changed to getting up every 30 minutes, even if it’s to only move for a minute to do a quick chore or put something away.

Nice post.
I especially agree with your point about getting up to move around every hour. I think this is *critical* and yet I never remember/prioritise it and then always regret it later!
Reading this it occurs to me that doing the movement in the rest period of a Pomodoro might work (25 on, 5 off), although I would probably lengthen the 25 min if in the flow.
Think I might try this.

Good skeletal alignment is so important. It permits relaxation on a much deeper level than trying to relax with bad alignment. Relaxing with bad alignment can actually make things worse. But with the bones in the right place the muscles can let go and be much more efficient. GB

I find that even 20 minutes a day makes a big difference — and that I more than get that time back in increased productivity.
